Xbox Canada brings Forza Horizon 6 to Toronto with photo ops, demos, prizes, and Marry Me Mochi doughnuts.

Forza Horizon 6 is about to race into launch week, and Xbox Canada is celebrating by bringing a slice of Horizon Japan to Toronto for one weekend only. The limited-time Forza Horizon 6 Meet Up is taking place at Queen St. W and Ossington on Saturday, May 16 and Sunday, May 17, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Dapper Jr. and I had the chance to check it out yesterday, and it is absolutely worth a stop if you are in and around Toronto this weekend. Whether you are a longtime fan of the series or just curious about the free photo ops, demo stations, and Horizon-themed mochi doughnuts, this is a fun, stylish, and very Toronto way to celebrate the launch of one of Xbox’s biggest games of the year.
I recently reviewed Forza Horizon 6, and it's stellar:
Xbox Canada’s weekend activation is a great way to celebrate another fantastic addition to the franchise. Let’s dig into what we experienced at the launch event:

A slice of Forza Horizon 6’s Japan setting in Toronto
Xbox Canada has transformed a parking lot near Queen St. W and Ossington (18 Ossington Ave.) into a small but memorable tribute to Forza Horizon 6’s Japan setting. The space features a massive mural, cherry blossom trees, a souped-up Toyota Supra, and a playful festival vibe that instantly connects with the game's energy.
Everything feels designed to let fans snap photos, play the game, grab a treat, and get a little closer to the world of Forza Horizon 6 before launch. The Subaru Sambar kei truck, packed with Xbox Series X demo stations, is a particularly great touch, giving the whole setup a fun Japanese car-culture feel.

Play Forza Horizon 6 and try your luck at the Gachapon machine
One of the big draws for Dapper Jr. and me was the chance to play Forza Horizon 6 at the event and win. After trying the demo, guests receive a coin for a Gachapon machine filled with sushi-themed keychains. A few lucky pulls also include a full digital game code for Forza Horizon 6. It's a fun idea, and it fits the theme perfectly.

Between the kei truck demo stations, the Gachapon prizes, and the festival-style setup, the activation does a great job turning a quick stop into something that feels connected to the game’s Japanese setting.

The Toyota GR Supra Photo Op
Dapper Jr. and I both agreed that the Toyota GR Supra photo op was the best part of the experience. The car looks fantastic parked in front of the huge Forza Horizon 6 mural, with cherry blossom trees framing the scene.
It genuinely looks like a postcard from the Horizon Festival. Whether you are there for the game, the car, or just a cool weekend photo, this is the spot you will want to stop at first. It is easily the most eye-catching part of the activation and a great way to capture the event's vibe.

Marry Me Mochi Joins the Forza Horizon 6 Celebration
The activation also includes a sweet Toronto twist thanks to Marry Me Mochi. If you snap a photo at the event and tag Xbox Canada, you can receive a free mochi doughnut in person.
Marry Me Mochi is also celebrating the launch of Forza Horizon 6 across its stores from May 15 to May 24 with three limited-edition Forza Horizon 6 mochi doughnuts. The collaboration includes a chance to win an Xbox Series X, along with 1-in-50 odds at a Forza Horizon 6 game code.
The featured flavours all pull from the Forza Horizon 6 theme, which I absolutely loved:
Matcha Made in Overdrive
Matcha glaze, white chocolate drizzle, and matcha cream filling.

Petal To The Metal
Sakura strawberry Pocky with an edible petal topping.
Yuzu My Horizon
Yuzu citrus glaze with a neon marble finish.
It is a clever food collab that matches the look and feel of Forza Horizon 6. I tried the “Petal To The Metal” and it was a very floral flavour, but fantastic.

Should you visit the Forza Horizon 6 Toronto Meet Up?
If you are near Queen West today, yes. The Forza Horizon 6 Meet Up is a quick, free, and fun stop for Xbox fans, car lovers, families, and anyone looking for a unique photo op in the city.
The event runs today, Sunday, May 17, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Queen St. W and Ossington. Between the Toyota GR Supra, the demo stations, the Gachapon prizes, and the Marry Me Mochi doughnuts, it is a stylish little celebration of Forza Horizon 6 that makes Toronto feel like part of the Horizon Festival for a few hours.
