Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse New Trailer and Release Info
The second official trailer for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse has dropped chalk full of easter eggs and other surprises.
The highly anticipated official second trailer for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse has arrived and the film is shaping up to be something special. After the runaway success of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse in 2018, fans have eagerly awaited the upcoming sequel, Across the Spider-Verse, which is approaching quickly.
The trailer is chalk full of moments teasing fans of the Oscar-winning animated superhero film with what they can expect in the upcoming sequel. The film will be exclusively available in movie theaters starting June 2, 2023.
The Spidey plot so far (minor spoiler warning)
Directed by Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powers, and Justin K. Thompson, the animated film follows the story of Miles Morales, the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man from Brooklyn. He reunites with Gwen Stacy and discovers that there is a team of “Spider-People” who protect their multiverse.
However, as they face a new threat, the heroes’ opinions differ on how to deal with it, and it becomes a clash between the Spider-People that puts Miles against his allies. He then must redefine what it takes to be a hero and save the people he loves the most.

Shameik Moore - Miles Morales
Shameik Moore reprises his role as Miles Morales, the young Spider-Man who first appeared in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. Miles is still on a journey to discovering his superhero identity and trying to live up to the values of the original Spider-Man, Peter Parker.
Hailee Steinfeld - Gwen Stacy
Hailee Steinfeld returns as the voice of the fearless Gwen Stacy. She comes from a different dimension and has been tasked with keeping the multiverse from collapse. She serves as an ally and a love interest for Miles in the film.
Oscar Isaac - Miguel O'Hara/Spider-Man 2099
Oscar Isaac joins the cast as Miguel O'Hara, a superhero from the year 2099 who also possesses spider-like abilities. He will appear alongside Miles, Gwen, and the other "Spider-People" in their mission to protect the multiverse.
Issa Rae - Jessica Drew/Spider-Woman
Issa Rae provides the voice of Jessica Drew in the upcoming movie. Jessica is also known as Spider-Woman and is one of the heroes who is determined to save the multiverse from total destruction.
Jake Johnson - Peter B. Parker
