Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Announced for 2023

Cal Kestis and BD-1 will make their return in an all new game, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, next year!

Respawn Entertainment has confirmed that they are working on a sequel to Jedi: Fallen Order. During the Star Wars Celebration event in Anaheim, the developer confirmed that Jedi: Survivor is the direct sequel to Star Wars: Fallen Order. Details around the sequel are sparse, but what we do know is it takes place 5 years after the events of the original.

"Star Wars Jedi: Survivor picks up five years after the events of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. Cal must stay one step ahead of the Empire’s constant pursuit as he continues to feel the weight of being one of the last remaining Jedi in the galaxy. Developed by the veteran team at Respawn Entertainment, Jedi: Survivor will expand upon iconic Star Wars stories, worlds, and characters, and thrilling combat first experienced in Jedi: Fallen Order. Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is being built for the current generation of gaming hardware to create a deeper and more expansive Star Wars experience for players worldwide when the game launches in 2023."

A Return to Respawn's Star Wars Universe

This news will surely excite Star Wars fans as they get to step back into the shoes of Cal Kestis and join his band of fellow adventurers in a galaxy far, far away. While not much else is known about the game, it is set to release in 2023 exclusively for current generation consoles, the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S to offer higher levels of fidelity.
