Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 Remastered launches July 11, 2025, bringing back the classic skateboarding experience with modern enhancements.

Get ready to shred; Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 Remastered has been officially announced and is set to return this summer. Scheduled for release on July 11th, 2025, the collection looks to bring back classic skateboarding action that defined a generation, now enhanced for modern platforms. Let’s dive into all the details with today’s THPS 3 + 4 announcement.

A Nostalgic Revival with Modern Enhancements

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 Remastered looks to offer a faithful recreation of the original games, incorporating key improvements. While this is only the “first look” at the game, so far it looks like things are on track from a technical perspective. The collection will support 4K resolution, enhanced textures, smoother animations, and advanced lighting effects. The games will retain its core mechanics, including trick-based gameplay, score challenges, and different level objectives, offering longtime fans and newcomers the signature Birdman experience.

New and Familiar Skaters Join the Roster

The remastered collection features an impressive lineup of both classic and new skaters. Returning legends include Tony Hawk, Bucky Lasek, Steve Caballero, Kareem Campbell, Geoff Rowley, Andrew Reynolds, Elissa Steamer, Chad Muska, Eric Koston, Rodney Mullen, Jamie Thomas, Rune Glifberg, and Bob Burnquist. Contemporary star skaters such as Rayssa Leal, Chloe Covell, Jamie Foy, Zion Wright, and Yuto Horigome are joining them. The roster reflects the evolving landscape of skateboarding culture with new and familiar faces.

Classic Tony Hawk Tracks

Music has always been integral to the Tony Hawk experience, and Tony Hawk 3 + 4 looks to bring back some key tracks. The remastered collection includes classics like "Ace of Spades" by Motörhead, "Amoeba" by Adolescents, "Mass Appeal" by Gang Starr, "96 Quite Bitter Beings" by CKY, and more. Additionally, new tracks that capture the spirit of modern skate culture have been added, ensuring the soundtrack resonates with both nostalgia and contemporary vibes.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 Availability

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 Remastered will be accessible on a wide range of platforms, which will be great for the game's longevity both off and online. The game is coming to the PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Nintendo Switch. THPS 3+4 will also be available at launch for subscribers to select Game Pass plans (Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass).

Cross-Platform Multiplayer and Customization

For the first time in a decade, brand-new parks alongside classic levels will offer cross-platform online multiplayer support for up to eight skaters. The “Create-A-Skater” mode will also provide expanded customization options, allowing you to create your own unique skater. The Create-A-Park mode will also return and has been enhanced with additional tools, enabling the design of personalized skate parks.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 is DOOMed

The Tony Hawk's Pro Skater series has a history of unique crossover characters, with one of the most notable in “Doomguy”—the space marine who battles back Hell’s minions from the Doom franchise. He was an unlockable character in the PC version of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3, and now he’s back and ready to shred. Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 Remastered reintroduces this iconic character, “Doom Slayer,” as part of the Digital Deluxe Edition. This edition offers exclusive content, including the Doom Slayer and Revenant characters, in-game skate decks, Create-A-Skater items, and more.

Pre-Order Bonuses and Editions

Along with the official announcement, Activision has outlined enticing pre-order bonuses and special editions:

Standard Edition ($49.99 USD / $66.99 CAD): Pre-ordering any edition grants access to the Foundry Demo in June and the Wireframe Tony Shader at launch.

Digital Deluxe Edition ($69.99 USD / $66.99 CAD): Includes early access to the full game three days prior to launch (beginning July 8), exclusive content featuring Doom Slayer and Revenant characters from the Doom series, in-game skate decks, Create-A-Skater items, and more.

Collector’s Edition ($129.99 USD / $189.99 CAD): Offers all Digital Deluxe Edition content plus a limited-edition full-size Birdhouse skateboard deck with a printed Tony Hawk autograph.

Pre-orders are now open across various retailers and digital storefronts, allowing fans to secure their preferred edition ahead of the official release.
