Turtle Beach’s flagship headset delivers impressive battery life and flexible connectivity across platforms, my full review.

The original Stealth Pro was already excellent in its own right, and one of my favourite headsets. Turtle Beach has upped the ante with the Stealth Pro II, improving its key features. Larger 60mm Eclipse dual drivers deliver fuller sound, while longer battery life, improved noise cancellation and CrossPlay 2.0 make the headset easier to use daily.

After testing it with games, music, movies and online chat, it has become one of my favourite gaming headsets. Its performance and versatility help justify the premium price; let’s dive into my full review of all the Stealth Pro II has to offer.

A Polished Design with Thoughtful Extras

In the package, Turtle Beach includes a case that keeps the headset, detachable microphone, batteries, dock, transmitter and cable together. It prevents components from disappearing and makes travelling easier. It’s a great addition, and I wish other headset makers would consider it for their offerings.

Elegant Looks

The Stealth Pro II looks just as refined as it feels. Anodized aluminum, chrome accents and soft-touch finishes create a clean, mature design without the oversized appearance of many gaming headsets. The reinforced frame also folds flat for storage, which is a great touch if you are always on the go.

Dual Battery Design

One of the hardware’s most unique features is that two rechargeable batteries are included, each offering up to 40 hours of use. One powers the headset while the other charges in the dock, providing up to 80 hours of playtime. A 15-minute fast charge delivers roughly three hours of use, so even if you forget to charge, you can jump back into the game quickly.

This is one of the best battery solutions I have encountered in a gaming headset.

Comfort for Longer Gaming Sessions

At 393g with the boom microphone attached, the Stealth Pro II has noticeable heft. However, its athletic-weave fabric, memory-foam ear cushions and balanced fit kept it comfortable on my head during longer sessions. The additional heft contributes to its sturdy feel without placing too much pressure on my head.

I regularly switch between contact lenses and glasses, so Turtle Beach’s ProSpecs design is particularly useful. The cushions reduce pressure around the frames of my glasses, and I noticed very little difference in comfort when wearing them.

CrossPlay 2.0 and simultaneous Bluetooth

CrossPlay 2.0 is one of the most useful upgrades. It supports up to four USB wireless transmitters, allowing the headset to move between compatible platforms without repeatedly unplugging accessories. For players with multiple consoles, a gaming PC and handheld devices, it can become the central audio solution for an entire setup.

The headset can use its low-latency 2.4GHz wireless connection and Bluetooth 5.3 simultaneously. I could hear game audio while remaining connected to my phone for Discord, calls or music. Independent earcup controls make it easy to balance both sources.

Powerful, Detailed Sound

The Stealth Pro II replaces the original model’s 50mm drivers with 60mm Eclipse dual drivers. A dedicated woofer and tweeter in each earcup help separate bass, midrange and high frequencies, producing a spacious and controlled sound.

Bass hits with plenty of weight without overwhelming dialogue or finer details. Music has room to breathe, voices remain clear and subtle environmental sounds are easier to identify. It delivers the impact expected from gaming audio while avoiding a muddy presentation.

Compatible devices also support certified 24-bit/96kHz Hi-Res Wireless Audio through the 2.4GHz USB connection. It is especially valuable on PC, where games, movies and lossless music benefit from the additional clarity.

Dolby Atmos Spatial Audio is available on Xbox and PC. Supported games feel more dimensional, with sounds appearing around, above and behind you. The positioning helps identify footsteps in competitive games while making racing games, open worlds and cinematic adventures more immersive.

Final thoughts on the Turtle Beach Stealth Pro II

The Turtle Beach Stealth Pro II is an outstanding all-purpose gaming headset. It sounds fantastic, remains comfortable through long sessions and connects easily to nearly every device I use. Its swappable batteries eliminate charging interruptions, while simultaneous Bluetooth, effective noise cancellation and an improved microphone add meaningful everyday value.

Its premium price will place it beyond some budgets, and the 393g weight may be noticeable for players who prefer lighter headsets. Even so, the build quality, flexible connectivity and excellent audio make the investment easier to understand. If you want one high-end wireless headset for gaming, movies, music and chat across multiple platforms, the Stealth Pro II is easy to recommend.
