Ubisoft Forward’s 2024 Recap: All Announcements and Trailers
All the announcements and gameplay revealed at Ubisoft Forward 2024, from Star Wars Outlaws to Assassin’s Creed Shadows and beyond.
Ubisoft Forward offered plenty of announcements and gameplay for their slate of upcoming titles in 2024 and beyond. We were treated to in-depth gameplay looks for Star Wars Outlaws and Assassin’s Creed Shadows, which are set to be released later this year. Additionally, Ubisoft teased the next installment in the beloved city-builder series, Anno 117: Pax Romana, and revealed that the long-awaited remake of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time is slated for a 2026 release.

The show started with an in-depth look at the highly anticipated Star Wars Outlaws, setting the tone for a showcase filled with action and adventure.
Star Wars Outlaws

Star Wars Outlaws showed off its open world, with protagonist Kay Vess taking on high-risk jobs, engaging in space combat, and bounty hunting. This was my favourite showing of the game yet, and I’m really looking forward to Outlaws later this summer. During the segment, we were treated to two trailers, one focused on gameplay and the other an overview of the game.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows, like Star Wars Outlaws, received the double trailer treatment. The Extended Gameplay Walkthrough offered a deep dive into the game’s world and mechanics, while the Combat and Stealth Evolved trailer looked at the different gameplay styles of each character.

That's a wrap on Ubisoft Forward 2024
Ubisoft Forward offered an exciting look at hotly anticipated titles and deep dives on gameplay, sparking a lot of interest. In the case of Assassin’s Creed Shadows and Star Wars Outlaws, they both easily had their best showing and made me extremely interested in going "hands-on." Overall, Ubisoft Forward 2024 primary goal seemed to be focused on shedding light on two of its biggest titles of 2024 with Assassin’s Creed Shadows and Star Wars Outlaws, those titles absolutely hit the mark for me.
