All the big reveals from Ubisoft Forward from Assassin's Creed to Trackmania in one place!

Ubisoft Forward 2022 brought more games than ever before. From new reveals to in-depth looks at upcoming titles, new entertainment ventures, there was something for just about everyone. There were plenty of exciting announcements and I've rounded them up here, let's dive in to all the Ubisoft Forward had to offer.

Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope Ubisoft Forward 2022 Premiere

Davide Soliani, the Creative Director of Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope gave the very first look at gameplay from the hotly anticipated title. The next mainline entry in the Mario + Rabbids franchise, looks like it's shaping up incredibly well on Nintendo Switch ahead of it's October 20th.

Along with a look at the tantalizing gameplay, Ubisoft also announced that DLC will extend the life of the game a year after launch. The final surprise was the announcement that an Ubisoft legend in Rayman will also be joining the game:

Skull and Bones Gameplay Surfaces

Skull and Bones was first announced all the way back at E3 2017, and since then, we've seen very little of it. That finally changed during Ubisoft Forward 2022, as we got our first look at actual gameplay.

The game still looks like a seafaring take on Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, which is not a bad thing. We got to see ship-to-ship combat in action, as well as some of the game's customisation options. It's looking solid so far, even if development cycle has taken some time.

Rider’s Republic DLC shreds into Ubisoft Forward

The free-to-play Riders Republic extreme sports spectacular is about to receive some new content. A new BMX drop is coming to the Republic offering players full bike customization and more. This will also kickoff Season four which will launch September 14th, 2022.

The Division franchise shows off new games and updates

In the universe of The Division, things are about to get a whole lot bigger. We got our first look at The Division Heartland, a new free-to-play game set in Middle America that's coming to PC and consoles. It looks like a fully fledged expansion of the franchise, which is exciting news for fans. In this developer intro video, Keith Evans (Creative Director) gives a quick overview of what players can expect from Tom Clancy’s The Division Heartland:

You can register now to join future closed tests.

We also got an update on The Division 2, which is receiving a major expansion later this winter. There is also a new mobile game, The Division Resurgence, which will offer a beta later this year.

Rainbow Six Mobile at Ubisoft Forward 2022

At the event Ubisoft revealed the Alpha last year had refined the gameplay to the point where it was ready for a closed beta. Gamers won't need to wait long as it will begin this Monday, September 12. Rainbow Six legacy maps Bank and Border, with a brand-new map Clubhouse, will be the first available.

Netflix at Teams Up with Ubisoft to offer exclusive games

In a completely unexpected announcement, Netflix and Ubisoft are teaming up to offer games and other exclusive entertainment content. In January 2023, Netflix will premiere the sequel to the award-winning Valiant Hearts: The Great War, dubbed Valiant Hearts 2. Ubisoft has also announced Mighty Quest 2 will arrive shortly after on the service.

The companies also announced an update to the live-action Assassin Creed series now in production. The series show runner was announced as Jeb Stuart, who is also directing Vikings: Valhalla for Netflix. It's an interesting partnership that could offer some great content for fans of both brands.

Mythic Quest Season arrives this fall

The first trailer for the upcoming season of Mythic Quest was revealed during Ubisoft Forward. The season looks to be just as zany and entertaining as the first, with the added bonus of some new cast members. The season will premiere on Apple TV+ this fall, here's a first look:
