Marvel's Spider-Man 2 Swings Into Fan Expo Canada
Fan Expo Canada marks the first major appearance of Spider-Man 2 in Canada! We toured the booth and got a sneak peak at Spidey PS5 accessories.
PlayStation Canada and Marvel's Spider-Man 2 swung into Fan Expo Canada this year in a big way. All around the Metro Toronto Convention Centre you can find Peter and Miles adorning different part of the complex. At the PlayStation booth, it's officially Spidey Central and you can enjoy a variety of activities that will make you feel like you’re part of the game. Dapper Jr. and I toured the booth and took advantage of all there was to do and see, here's everything at the booth this year:
A symbiotic morphing waterfall
As you line-up for your Peter and Miles photo op you can interact with a "Venom" waterfall that responds to your movements. It morphs to your silhouette like the iconic Spider Man-Symbiote Suit. If you step away from the camera, the waterfall displays the Spider-Man logo and Venom's face in real-time. It’s a great way to have fun and take some awesome pictures and videos that you can share.
Greater. Together. Spider-Man 2 photo op
In the booth you can also take a picture with Peter Parker and Miles Morales. The photo op recreates the stunning reveal trailer of the game with Venom lurking in the shadows. His looming presence in the background adds a touch of suspense, perfectly capturing the thrilling essence of the game.
Pick-up the Spider-Man 2 prequel comic
You can also pick up a copy of the pre-launch comic that tells the story of what happens just before Spider-Man 2. The comic, which was released for Free Comic Book Day in the United States, follows Peter, Miles, and MJ as they try to balance their duties to the city and their personal lives. Just a heads up the comic is very limited, and are only available while supplies last. If you miss out on a physical copy, you can also read the comic online by clicking here.
Spider-Man 2 PlayStation 5 Console Covers and controllers
We also got a sneak peek at the Spider-Man 2 DualSense wireless controller and PS5 shells. They look even better in-person with a rich red Spider-Man tone that contrasts again the black designs of Venom. The controller and shells are available for pre-order now along with the game, which comes out on October 20th, 2023.
