Xbox and OPI Launch Nail Polish Collection
12 video game-inspired hues are included in the new collaboration, as well as special Halo and Forza in-game content with a qualifying purchase.
Microsoft has partnered with O·P·I, a California-based personal care and design company, to create an Xbox themed nail polish collection. Nail art has become a gender-neutral form of self-expression, with everyone from celebrity nail polish brands to Twitch stream tutorials available to help some unique flair to your finger tips. The OPI line will help Xbox gaming fans express their creativity and passion for play through nail art with a nail polish collection for Spring 2022.
A colour to match your gaming style
The OPI x Xbox collection includes 12 hues that bring to life the virtual worlds of Xbox Game Pass titles and popular gaming phrases in GelColor, Infinite Shine, Nail Lacquer, and Powder Perfection formulas. Here are some of the gaming themed colour styles:
Quest for Quartz: A shimmery rose quartz that will put you in the winner circle.
Pixel Dust: A shimmery mauve pink that will pixelate your world.
Racing for Pinks: A crème rose that will rev your engine.
Suzi is My Avatar: A creamy pink-nude that will give you virtual power.
Trading Paint: A crème apricot you’ll race to the finish for.
Heart and Con-soul: A shimmery crimson red that takes nails to the next level.
The Pass is Always Greener: Meet your matcha with this creamy pastel green.
Sage Simulation: Get lost in a shimmery sage green simulation.
You Had Me at Halo: A shimmery galactic blue that will give you sparkly stats.
Can’t CTRL Me: A shimmery robin’s egg blue that cannot be CTRL’d.
Achievement Unlocked: Unlock a world of color that’s lilac optimized.
N00berry: Berry boost your nails with this deep crème purple.
A sneak peek at the polishes shows a mixture of metallic silver flakes within a pastel cream base. This abstract design was achieved thanks to Xbox's special custom pigment used to produce Xbox controllers.
In-game digital bonuses
Beginning in early February, the collection will be available globally for purchase at retailers where OPI products are sold including OPI.com, Amazon, CVS, Target, Beauty Brands, BeautyBrands.com, Chatters, Dillard’s, Hudson’s Bay, Regis, Sally Beauty, SallyBeauty.com, Amazon Beauty via Amazon.com and more.
Starting February 1st, with each qualifying OPI nail polish purchase, US customers can unlock hue-matched, in-game content for Forza Horizon 5 and Halo Infinite.You'll be able to redeem your digital content here.
